This piece was a challenge for me as I don't usually paint people. I am known to paint mostly landscapes and objects but even artists have to get out of their comfort zone sometimes... So I decided to stop being a chicken and just go for it! The painting is based on an old cellphone picture (circa 2009) of my boyfriend and I.
